EXPERIENCE WHITEWATER RAFTING: ARKANSAS RIVER

Designed specifically as a Colorado Young Teen Camp, this classic Colorado adventure is a perfect introduction to the beauty and challenge of a Colorado summer. We jump right in with two days of whitewater rafting through the world-famous Browns Canyon! We navigate fun and exciting rapids with our professional guides, paddling past magnificent peaks and camping beside the river.

LEARN TO ROCK CLIMB: COLORADO

Learn to rock climb in the mountains of central Colorado! With instruction tailored to participants of all ability levels, we scale magnificent granite cliffs and challenge ourselves in a thrilling yet safe environment. Professional climbers teach us the essentials of this awesome sport which builds incredible skills and personal confidence. After our full days of climbing, we enjoy some much deserved relaxation in the Mount Princeton hot springs! We celebrate our first success on Bold Earth's Colorado Young Teen Camp.

HIKE THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS

Learn the basics of backpacking and camping as we spend three days in the Collegiate Peaks of Colorado. Blue skies, clear lakes and stunning views abound during this quintessential Colorado Middle School Program. We learn backcountry skills, topographical map navigation and Leave No Trace ethics while exploring pristine mountain lakes, tumbling waterfalls and the hike to the top of a 13,000 foot mountain!

LEARN TO MOUNTAIN BIKE: BRECKENRIDGE

Our multi-sport middle school colorado camp concludes with two days of mountain biking led by professional guides in Breckenridge! We ride trails suited for all skill levels amidst a landscape of Aspen trees, summer wildflowers and snow-capped peaks. Later, we give back by completing a community service project on a classic Colorado Fourteener.

Colorado Discovery was probably the best two weeks of my life. I had an insane amount of fun, met amazing people, and made memories that I will absolutely never forget.

Jen (Trip Leader) is one of the most amazing people I've ever met. So interesting, and eager to share and discuss her stories and wisdom about life. Hilarious, yet also a good leader who knows when seriousness is necessary.

Emory (Trip Leader) was so great at hanging out with all the campers, making jokes, and connecting with all of us. In addition, he was confident and knew how to handle things, so I always felt really safe around him. (cont...)

This experience has changed my life and I can't wait to go on another Bold Earth trip!

PARENTS, Heidi & Jonathan: The blog was excellent. It really gave us a great sense of what Rachel was doing day to day. The leaders took great care to mention each child. The updates were incredibly detailed. Both leaders were very responsive, and from what Rachel told us personally made a huge difference in her experience.
