Booking through our travel office is beneficial for successful group arrivals and departures and to ensure smooth and coordinated globe trotting. Booking through our flight service means that when possible you will be flying with other Bold Earth travelers and ensures that Bold Earth is informed of all schedule changes and problems. Bold Earth works in partnership with STA Travel, a global travel specialist with 30 years of experience advising young people on adventures abroad. We enthusiastically welcome students from 50+ countries! If you are joining Bold Earth from outside the US you will receive specific directions for booking correct flights to and from the trip. You will be met at the airport upon arrival and your parents will be called to confirm safe arrival.
Yes! Our travel service will coordinate arrival and departure. Your flight information is posted to your Camper Homepage and given to your Bold Earth leaders who will meet you a the airport. Leaders will remain with you on the last day of the trip until you depart.
Our travel service will make the best possible flight plan. Usually you can connect with other Bold Earth students at a hub and arrive together to start the trip. Bold Earth will help with everything.
You are welcome to use air miles or book your own flights if you can do so in accordance to our specific guidelines. If you want to book flights on your own, call our office and we can recommend specific flights for your trip.
Participants often ask us to estimate the cost of flights for different trips. Ticketing costs vary greatly depending on time of travel, departure city and availability. We recommend participants book their flights after March 31st. This ensures low fares and maximum coordinated group flights. For precise estimates just call our office.
