We begin our England Teen Trip with two days in London, where we’ll visit must-see sites including Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guards, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square. Before heading into the countryside to the north, we eat fish and chips and catch a play at the world-famous West End Theater!
In Wales we visit Snowdonia National Park, an outdoor paradise with cloud-scraping mountains and spectacular sea-sprayed beaches. We begin our adventure with a day climb of Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. Trekking through lush greenery, past mountain lakes and finally to the summit of the mountain, we enjoy incredible views of the coast and surrounding peaks. Next, we give back to the park by partnering with the National Trust for an ecological service project. Action-packed days of rock climbing await us as we move to a new corner of Snowdonia National Park. Professional instructors teach us all about this exhilarating sport, setting up climbs appropriate for participants of all ability levels. Teamwork, challenge and fun are the goals of this section of the england teen trip as we push ourselves in the most beautiful scenery of the United Kingdom!
Our next destination is The Gower, an outstandingly beautiful beach with perfect waves on Wales’ southwest coast. We spend two full days learning to surf with local instructors. Back on land, we explore the delights of Swansea, the second largest city in Wales, before returning to London for a final celebration of our amazing two-week england teen tour!
