We begin our adventure by hopping on our bikes and exploring Amsterdam's quaint and unique streets, taking in sights such as the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum. Leaving the city, we pedal on paved trails past dunes, beach resorts, windmills and rustic villages along the North Sea Coast towards Belgium. This is an amazing Teen Bike Camp in Europe!
We ride to Bruges and Ghent, two of the Belgium's most beautiful and historic cities, complete with cobblestone streets and canals. We visit an authentic medieval castle first built in 848, known as the Castle of the Counts, in the heart of Ghent. We also give back to this beautiful area by completing a service project in a nature reserve. Full days of biking through the European countryside on Bold Earth's teen bike trip helps us work up a well-deserved appetite for world-famous Belgian chocolate!
Shifting gears, we hop a high speed train to downtown Paris. We spend two days visiting all the major sites including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and a cruise on the Seine River. We then celebrate the end of our teen bike tour with a fantastic French meal in the heart of the city and toast to a summer of accomplishment, adventure and friendship!
Biking an average of 25 miles per day allows all campers to enjoy the 10 days of riding. Bikes and helmets are included. Campers are fully supported by a van and do not carry their gear.
