Teen Summer Community Service Project in California

Overview

Explore California, Utah and Nevada. From the canyons of Zion to San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, Bold West is an adventure fusion of North America's most popular sports, natural wonders and cities.

Rock Climbing in Zion National Park

Our Great American West adventure begins in Zion National Park, Utah, home to towering red cliffs, canyons and cool rivers. Professional guides teach us the necessary skills for safe and fun rock climbing. We climb sandstone cliffs, rappel, and conquer challenges we never thought possible!

Exploring Las Vegas!

We jump from the wilderness to two nights of electric energy at Circus-Circus hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada; a unique American oasis.

Hiking amongst giant trees and white water rafting

Sequoia National Park is our next stop as we hike among some of the earth's oldest and largest living organisms; giant Sequoia trees. In Yosemite National Park, we swim in the crystal clear rivers and hike to breathtaking vistas of the High Sierras. Our two-day whitewater rafting adventure takes us down class III and IV rapids and through stunning scenery.

Surfing and community service project

We learn the art of surfing in Santa Cruz, a typical California beach town complete with a boardwalk. Our service project among the famous Redwoods, gives us a chance to give back to nature. "Town" time in San Francisco includes Chinatown, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf and Haight-Ashbury!
