Every single day is FULL of fun, laughter, beautiful sights, national parks, world class attractions and never-ending adventure. Keep your camera in hand as we tour through Zion National Park, Sequoia National Park and Yosemite National Park! Remember to blink as you stand in awe of huge trees, beautiful rock monoliths, rushing rivers and pristine beaches! Thankfully you have 25 days to soak in all the beauty.
Most of the nights will be spent in beautiful campgrounds in or around the worlds most pristine National Parks. We will stay in two nights in the Circus-Circus hotel in Las Vagas and three nights in one of the coolest hostels in San Fransico. It is the perfect blend of camping and comfort.
ABSOLUTELY! About 80% of our campers come to bold earth on their own. Many love to get away from it all and experience a brand new summer with new friends and new adventures. But, lots of students want to share this experience with their best friend. Bold Earth students are open to new friendships and we all become very close over this 25 day trip.
Bold Earth has an incredible, healthy, abundant and local philosophy on food. We are playing hard all day and know that teens need tons of delicious snacks and food. You will learn new recipes, cook in the great outdoors and dine with million dollar views.
We spend a half day working with Golden Gate State Park. Helping with conservation and restoration of the great redwoods! We will also be working in partnership with Sequoia National Forest doing trail maintenance and removal of invasive species. We will talk with rangers and learn first hand why it is so important to keep our world healthy and clean.
