Your days will be filled with one incredible memory after another! From ice climbing the Matanuska Glacier to hiking in the shadow of Mt Denali you'll need to tighten your boots cause this type of beauty will knock your socks off.
We stay in some of the most beautiful campgrounds in the world. Surrounded by Alaskan wilderness, towering mountains, adventure will be knocking at the back door and perhaps a moose at the front door. Tents are provided, bring a warm sleeping bag and enjoy a summer filled with sleepovers in the land of the midnight sun.
Get out your camera! There are wild Alaskan animals around every corner. Bald eagles will soar over you while ice climbing a glacier, moose cross every road, black bears meander the hillside as we float by on our raft, harbor seals and possibly a whale while kayaking on Resurrection Bay and of course a few cute little foxes or coyotes on our hike through Denali State Park. A stop at the breath-taking Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center will ensure you get to see some of the more illusive animals of this great state.
No problem! Just like all of our multi-sport adventures, we meet you at your skill level. Bold Earth hires professional kayaking, rafting and ice climbing guides to teach students the basics. These guides are the best in the business! All we ask is that you have a willing spirit and you're up for giving your best effort!
Bold Earth has an incredible, healthy, abundant and local philosophy on food. We are playing hard all day and know that teens want lots of delicious snacks and food. You will learn new recipes, cook in natures kitchen and dine with million dollar views.
Absolutely! Many of our students stay in Alaska after their Bold Earth trip to travel this northern frontier with their families or relatives. Contact the Bold Earth office and we can arrange a drop off/pick up point with you and your family.
