Alexandra is from Vancouver and grew up exploring the outdoors of British Columbia. Surrounded by the mountains and ocean, she is an avid skier and runner. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, she returned to Vancouver and has spent the last year working as a program coordinator for an organization that promotes literacy and education in her community. Working with youth in her current role helped Alex recognize her passion for teaching, and this fall she will begin the Bachelor of Education program at the University of British Columbia. This will be her first summer as a trip leader with Venture Europe, and she is thrilled to bring her experience and love for teaching to the participants on Ultimate Alps and Italy Greece!

I feel fortunate for the chance to explore new places alongside my amazing, inspiring participants. I look forward to leading Ultimate Alps and Italy Greece this summer!

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I like to spend most of my free time with friends and family, whether we're skiing together, kayaking, or just playing board games at home. It's the people you're with who make the moment.
