Alison was born and raised in Montreal, but kindled her passion for travel on trips through Italy, Sweden and South America. Always seeking new adventure, Alison has lately developed a love for scuba diving and rock climbing, which she can't wait to teach during this summer's Wild Isles trip. She has a variety of experience with teenagers; for years she worked as a lifeguard and swim coach, and she currently teaches at a secondary school. Alison is excited to combine her leadership experience, passion for travel and love of the outdoors to create an enriching environment with Bold Earth this summer!
What BOLD EARTH means to me?: Adventure, exploration, friendship, challenge and success!

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I'm always finding new things to discover! I like to try new activities, visit new places and spend time with family and friends. I am a veteran runner and swimmer. I have newly taken on cycling, which lead to the inevitable triathlons. Each day I make sure I spend some time outdoors enjoying my surroundings while running, biking or swimming. I teach at a nearby high school where I try to get my students involved in all kinds of activities. This year we went skiing, hiking, and cross-country running. I have found that no matter what adventure I fall upon, each brings excitement, new friends and great memories!
