Annemarie Carzoli

I have been an adventure travel guide since graduating college. I am a ceritifed Wilderness First Responder and Lifeguard. I have worked with young adults extensively in many different environments including a wilderness therapy insturctor for at-risk youth, a camp counselor, an aftershool mentor and snowboard instructor. I have been with BOLD EARTH for seven years and led eleven successful and safe trips. I currently work full-time as a director at BOLD EARTH. This involves everything from speaking with teens and families to organizing trips and staff training.

What BOLD EARTH means to me?: Leading for BOLD EARTH is the ultimate job! It is extremely rewarding to share a summer, 24/7, with teens. Being on a BOLD EARTH trip one experiences growth, independence, culture, adventure, friendship, and laughter every single day! BOLD EARTH trips take young adults away from the traffic of everyday life and allow them to truly grow and create wonderful friendships as well as life-long memories! I feel so privildged to be a part of such a unique and inspiring community.

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: You can usually find me rock climbing, practicing yoga, playing ultimate frisbee, tele-skiing, biking, running, practicing the guitar, reading, seeing live music, eating chocolate and hanging out with good friend.
