I've always considered myself a natural leader. It was only appropriate that I dedicated my life to leading youth in a variety of settings. I worked as a camp counselor for about 8 years, and currently work as a Spanish (and sort of an English) teacher in a school district near Denver. I am the Student Council advisor for my high school students, and also run a guitar club. I love having the chance to expose children and teenagers to new and exciting experiences!

What BOLD EARTH means to me?: Working for BOLD EARTH is literally a dream come true. There is not another summer opportunity that satisfies my enormous interest in working with teens and traveling as much as this. I love the challenge of making sure everybody is having the time of their life - all while visiting incredible places around the world! I couldn't be more excited!

Favorite Quote: Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. - Howard Thurman

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: Throughout the rest of the year, I'm probably teaching, drinking coffee, playing the guitar (and pretending to play the piano), running, exploring Colorado, hanging out with friends, being nerdy and playing on the Internet, going to concerts, spending lots of time at the farmer's market, and reading.
