What BOLD EARTH means to me?: BOLD EARTH gives me the opportunity to help my students grow while being the best global citizen that I can possibly be. The amazing places and wonderful people we meet through Bold Earth will have a life-changing impact on both my campers and myself. Being a leader for BOLD EARTH gives me the opportunity to share my love of the outdoors with my students, and allows us all to give back to the ecosystems and people of the places we travel to.

Favorite Quote: "From birth, man [or woman] carries the weight of gravity on his [or her] shoulders. He [or she] is bolted to earth. But man [or woman] has only to sink beneath the surface and he [or she] is free." - Jacques Yves Cousteau

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I play ultimate frisbee, ride my bike, frolic through wildflower meadows in the sun with friends, tie-dye all my white clothing (nothing stays white for very long), kayak, travel to new places and constantly consider ways to better the Earth.

Education: University of New Hampshire, working towards a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology, B.S. in Outdoor Education, Minor in Marine Biology
