Lindy Hutchinson

Lindy was born in the Midwest, but has honed her outdoor leadership skills in the forested mountains of North Carolina. For two winters, she worked as a snowboard instructor at Sugar Mountain in Boone. During previous summers, Lindy worked as a raft guide on North Carolina's Nantahala River. Through the Appalachian State outdoors club, Lindy has led wilderness orientation trips for incoming freshman students. During the school year, she's also worked as a climbing instructor for local high school students. Lindy is thrilled to bring her strong outdoor resume to Bold Earth for Summer 2011!

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: When not studying, I'm constantly exploring! I love being outside, and spend most of my time climbing or snowboarding. It's also incredibly important to me that I'm able to spend time with my incredible friends and family!
