Martin Elliott

Martin is an extreme-sports devotee who is thrilled to bring his passion for adventure and adrenaline to Bold Earth summer after summer. After growing up in England, Martin headed west to Whistler, British Columbia, where he works as a snowboard instructor through the winter. During spring, Martin returns home to work as a Zorb operator before spending his summer with Bold Earth. Martin is certified in Wilderness First Responder, Lifeguard and CPR. As a role model and teacher, Martin hopes to instill among his students a love of exploration, adventure and challenge, and cherishes the opportunity he has to positively impact their lives.

What BOLD EARTH means to me?: Bold Earth is working proof of "living the dream." It enables me to follow my passion for teaching, work in inspiring environments and create an enriching, worthwhile and memorable experience for my participants.

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I'm always pushing myself physically. Whether it's racing motocross, downhill mountain biking, snowboarding or wakeboarding, I love to push the body and create an adrenaline rush. Otherwise, I'm doing the exact opposite and relaxing with a good book or music in a peaceful spot. In an effort to capture the beauty of the far-off places I travel to, I've recently taken an interest in studying photography.
