Sean Kuprevich

Sean hails from the great state of Pennsylvania and is proud to be returning to Bold Earth for his seventh summer. After college, Sean gained extensive outdoor experience through working with an inner-city youth program building and maintaining trails in New Mexico and Virginia, climbing mountains and glaciers in New Zealand and hiking through the Australian Outback. He spent over two years leading education studies abroad in the South Pacific and Central America. Sean is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, Adult CPR and as a Lifeguard. Before joining Bold Earth's full-time team, Sean spent six months working at the McMurdo research center on the world's harshest continent, Antarctica. Afterwards, he traveled through India and went trekking in Nepal. Sean has led Bold Earth trips all over the Western United States and Latin America, and is thrilled to leading Bold Earth's Peru Machu Picchu Adventure this summer. While leading, Sean uses his enthusiasm, experience and responsible approach to enrich each camper's experience.

What BOLD EARTH means to me?: What I cherish most about my job is the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young adults. Bold Earth is a special company that allows me to combine my passion for the outdoors, working with youth, trekking the globe and giving back to the places we visit through community service. Our teams have a unique chance to inspire one another, challenge ourselves to be better and explore new and wondrous places.

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I delve into the glorious expanses of Colorado by hiking, camping, biking and swimming as often as possible! I am an aspiring creative writer, photographer, and guitar player. It's extremely important to me that I make quality time for my friends and family. I am constantly working on my list of life goals and excited for my next epic adventure!
