Vincent grew up in upstate New York at the base of the Adirondack Mountains. After finishing college in Central New York, he moved out to Colorado to pursue his Masters in Education at CU Boulder. Since moving out west, Vincent has had the chance to expand his outdoor experience and has found a new love for the wilderness, the water and the mountains. Growing up in the Adirondacks has given him the opportunities to surround himself with wilderness and now the Rockies give him the chance to experience mountains in a whole new way. Vincent is certified in Wilderness Advanced First Aid and Adult/Child CPR. This will be his first year with BOLD EARTH and is excited to share all it has to offer by being a trip leader this summer.
What BOLD EARTH means to me?: BOLD EARTH provides the opportunity for participants to learn and grow in the face of new challenges and experiences.

What I do when I'm not at BOLD EARTH: I have just been offered a new teaching position in the Boulder Valley School District. I will be working with sixth and seventh graders, teaching them the intricacie and mysteries of mathematics. This will be my third year as a full-time teacher. When I am not teaching, or grading papers, I enjoy all things outdoors including but not limited to hiking, biking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing and the occasional round of golf.
Education: Mathematics Education at SUNY Cortland; Master of Education at University of Colorado
