Jack Douglas

Trip leader: Iceland

Jack is originally from Denver, CO, but also calls Atlanta, GA, home. He is an avid traveler, having visited 22 countries across five continents; some of his favorites include Wales, England, China, Argentina, Spain, and Thailand. During college, he was a counselor for Cheley Colorado Camps, facilitating backpacking trips for teenagers in Rocky Mountain National Park. He’s also spent many hours on different service projects, including working with Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, one of the organizations for which Bold Earth students volunteer. Since graduation, he’s worked with teenagers in a number of positions: He’s been an outdoor instructor for High Trails Outdoor Science school in California; an outdoor instructor with Learn with Dragonfly in Hong Kong; and a trip leader for Jump! Foundation in Thailand. Jack is joining Bold Earth for his first year as a trip leader.
