Trip leader: Epic Africa

An Arizona native, Samson is joining Bold Earth for his first year as a trip leader. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he was a teaching assistant at a montessori school in Phoenix, and then received a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Indonesia. During his time at Northern Arizona University, he was a researcher, working in a Tibetan refugee camp in India. He then joined Americorps to help train teachers, created the school’s gardening and composting program, and supervised after-school programs. Most recently, he was the director at Good Earth Farm Bali in Indonesia, an experiential education facilitator at the Jump! Foundation in Thailand, and the program manager for the Odyssey Institute in Bali.
