The Deeper Dive:
What drew you to the Bold Earth community?
I initially came across Bold Earth through their instagram content. I was surprised at how moved I was, and I immediately knew they were offering something special. It was clear to me that the trip leaders were passionate about and committed to providing incredible and life changing experiences for young people.
What is your Bold Earth superpower?
My superpower is my unwavering encouragement and capacity to meet people where they are! I bring a lot of warmth, steadiness, and a well-timed dose of humor to keep things moving:)
What is your adventure must-have?
My journal. Five months on the PCT taught me that the days blur together fast, and the ones you think you’ll never forget are the first ones to fade. Writing things down, even if it’s just a quick note, helps me remember all of the amazing, challenging, and hilarious moments on trail. Also, my spork!!!! Who doesn’t need a fork and a spoon on hand at all times??
What song would you add to the van playlist?
There are so many good ones, it’s so hard to choose just one, but I’ve never seen anyone not turn their frown upside down when the New Radicals “You Get What You Give” comes on.
