Update from students Taylor, Joey, Weston, and Alana: To start off the day, the breakfast crew whipped up some yogurt parfaits along with bagels and cream cheese. Thanks to Alana, and her outstanding knife skills, we were all able to enjoy fresh kiwi with our meal. As we prepared to embark on our second white water adventure, we were fitted for wetsuits. Spencer made the bold decision to raft in just his shorts in an attempt to even out his farmers tan *unsuccessfully*. When we got out on the river, Harrison, Weston, and Taylor decided to sit in the front of their rafts, not realizing how cold the water was. At lunch time, we stopped in the city of Salida for buffalo chicken sandwiches made by Lauren and the rest of the lunch crew. As we travelled back to camp, Ethan made sure to take a power nap to be fueled for showers and dinner. When we arrived at the recreation center for showers, Joey made sure to stop by the pool and do some handstands. Today was awesome!
